October Desirables

1. I’m well overdue for a new pair of spectacles, and these lovelies from Oliver Peoples fit the bill. Geek chic, but with a small-face-friendly frame, so I won’t look like I’m playing dressup!
2. I ogle Laura’s Kate Spade Gramercy bracelet watch every time I see her. The perfect combination of masculine and feminine. I’m thinking it’s time I get my own!
3. Noticing a trend in my choices this month? Yes, I am loving mixed metals and think this horn ring from House of Harlow 1960 is not only super fun, but might be a little easier to make mine than the aforementioned watch…
4. I’m cold. Actually, I’m always cold. For someone so cold al the time, I certainly don’t own many sweaters. So why a fisherman? Every since I read Maggie Bullock’s ode to New York City girls’ style I’ve been fixated on the following description and must emulate it at the earliest possibility: “cream fisherman’s sweater, cropped gray leather jacket… tangerine-painted lips on an otherwise unadorned face”. Actually, I want to emulate all the girls she described in the article, but for today, this girl’s got my heart!
