Celebrating Individuality

My style isn’t your style and that’s a good thing.

When selecting fabrics for this Military Motorcycle Jacket, I offered my client a silk I’ve been aching for someone to choose; a feminine but stylized floral with deep cool colours and pops of purple. My client was open to it, but also drawn to another option. I was rooting for the floral until I had moment of clarity: This jacket was being made for a red-haired beauty with a bohemian undercurrent to her personal style!

No matter how much I love a fabric, if it isn’t right for the client’s colours, style, and wardrobe, it’s not right for their jacket. In the end, choosing this rust and olive geo-paisley was 100% the right decision because sameness is sad. We are all created as unique women and I believe this individuality should be celebrated and reflected in the jackets we create for you.
